Modern Full Backs Part 1

The role of the full back has evolved significantly over the past few years. Attacking full backs have been a thing for as long as I can remember, but nowadays, they are more like wingers who defend, rather than defenders who attack. In this blog series, I’m going to talk about how I set my full backs up to be an additional attacking force without leaving us too exposed.

FM19: The Final Wisla Update?

After five successful seasons as manager of Wisla Krakow, the time has come to pack up and move onto the next part of my managerial career. It has been a successful period for the club as we won four Ekstraklasa titles, one SuperCup and made the group stage of the Champions League. It’s not all been rosy and I’m going to go through the highs and lows in this post and let you know where I’m off to next. (more…)

FM19: Catch Up

Since my last update, I’ve moved forward a couple of seasons. As I begin to shape the club, my focus on transfers, youth policy and style all change. In this post I aim to look at what we’ve achieved in the past two years, on the pitch and off, as well as looking at where I’m aiming to get the club now that we’ve made some progress. I said at the start of the save that I like to have a plan in place and with all of the changes, we’re getting better placed to achieve what I want. (more…)
