I’ve been playing Championship Manager and Football Manager for over 20 years now. My earliest memory of it was playing on the Commodore Amiga at a mate’s house around 1994/95. It was a bit old, but I thought it was great.

From there I got a PC and the first thing I did was buy Championship Manager 96/97. I was hooked and I’ve been playing ever since. I missed a couple of years in the early 2000’s, but since FM10, I’ve never missed a game. I’ve wasted many hours of my life playing this series.

I’ve since got into writing about my saves, more for notes for myself so I remember the good times (and the bad) but if people get something out of them, then that’s cool. From time to time, I get into my tactics and discuss how I’ve set my teams up and show the style I’m using.
